The Chanel Company Worldwide (“CHANEL”) is one of the famous high fashion houses in the world. Due to the tight schedule on the approval process made by the Top Management, Chanel needs to find a solution to shorten the approval timeline of all jobs issued to the Top Management through the in-house ERP system. Therefore, the company invited Amoeba Consulting Limited to develop a mobile workflow approval portal, in which to support the Top Management for managing all approval job requests in the ERP system via their mobile devices. This solution is compatible with the iPhone browser IOS 5+, iPad browser IOS 5+ and Blackberry browser OS 6 to OS 7. The key challenge of this solution is to build a stable interface with the in-house ERP System for Top Management handling all approval jobs anytime, anywhere.
Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific Limited (“FUJITSU”) is the Asia Pacific Regional Headquarters for PC business of Fujitsu Limited, Japan. Its responsibilities include the marketing and sales of a wide range of personal computers for the corporate and end-user markets in the Asia Pacific. The demand of the PC market is sharply increased and there are large numbers of warranty services to be managed by FUJITSU. Therefore, FUJITSU found that the integration between the SAP system with their online product warranty service website is important to shorten the verification time on the warranty service period. Amoeba Consulting Limited proposed a solution to streamline their validation process on warranty service and also developed an integrated solution for consolidation of all data into their SAP system. This project provides us a solid experience in building a comprehensive integration solution with the large-scale enterprise ERP system.
LOOP is a free legal mobile music and entertainment platform, which is designed and running in a private cloud platform. The client application is available on both Android and Apple iOS platform. The local Hong Kong artists can leverage the Loop Application Platform to connect with their audiences in any time at any places. In addition, audiences can engage into the music world through the mobile device platform.
By adopting the private cloud solution platform in the entire Loop Application, this can facilitate the development team to cater the increasing capacity or adjusting processing power on the spot, and break through the limitation and constraint in expanding the hardware to support the rapid growth of usage rate. In addition, there is a challenge of this project to support worldwide users to access Loop Application and also support a huge amount of media contents in audio and video format in steady bandwidth loading performance. The fluctuated growth of Loop users creates another challenge on the architectural design of the platform, that depends on the market response on the marketing activities, attractiveness of audio and video launched. Therefore, our team has developed a Content Delivery Network (CDN) with Smart IP Routing Technology (it routes user to a nearest server base on their IP Address) under the private cloud platform to cope with the bandwidth requirement.

Amoeba Learning Platform (currently under development) provides cloud-based online learning platform enabling students, teachers, parents and even school IT administrators to fully embed this learning platform into school’s learning practices.
ALP fully integrates learning materials, examination engine and learning progress report into learning flow, so that students, parents and school can have a holistic picture and measurement on student’s learning progress. And students can continue their studies, base on their own study progress, either on the web based learning platform or mobile devices.
